BIO: When she was 7 years old, Colossus’ sister Illyana was kidnapped and brought to the realm of Limbo, where she learned swordsmanship magic. Eventually, Magik acquired the mystical Soulsword and used it to fight her way back to Earth, where she took her place among her brother's X- Men.
STATUS: In the midst of a battle on the Blue Area of the Moon, the Phoenix was split into four parts, distributing its power among several X-Men. With such power at her fingertips, Magik struggled to suppress her demonic nature... though she eventually attacked her brother to steal his portion of the Phoenix Force.
