REAL NAME: Samuel Guthrie

BIO: Sam Guthrie's abiltiy to fly at supersonic speeds while encased in an impenetrable force field made him the perfect recruit for Mister Sinister's team of sibling prelates known as the Elite Mutant Force. Sam and his sister Elizabeth took the geneticist up on his offer, but their sister Paige joined the X-Men, placing the once-close family in direct opposition.
STATUS: As a rookie in the EMF, Cannonball was eager to prove himself. Such an opportunity came along when Alex Summers caught his brother in an act of treason, and conscripted the Guthrie siblings to help bring him to justice.
