BIO: A product of the Beast's genetic experiments, Alex Summers can absorb ambient cosmic energy and redirect it as blasts of super-hot plasma. After being separated from their parents as children, Mister Sinister adopted Alex and his brother Scott and molded them into high-ranking prelates in the Elite Mutant Force. But Alex has seen Scott receive every advantage in life, and harbors a poorly hidden hatred of his brother's success.
