REAL NAME: Freddy Dukes
1st APPEARANCE: X-Men #3 (1964)
BIO: Texas Native Fred Dukes - an obese, super-strong mutant with the ability to make himself immovable - used his powers to become the main attraction at a local circus sideshow before being offered a place with the X-Men. Dukes refused, instead turning to crime and joining up with Magneto's Brotherhood.
STATUS: Fed up with being used by megalomaniacs like Magneto, the Blob decided to stop causing havoc and even work on the side of good once in a while.
